The hottest new pools feature modern moats, submerged seating and even dry conversation spots.
As we looked at the most popular pool photos on a hot day, it was easy to see why they were so attractive to customers. It’s pure fantasy and makes you want to jump in right away. Keep this in mind if you are considering installing a swimming pool. Not long ago, the options were basically rectangles or kidneys with blue bottoms, but now there are a variety of options, including shelves, underwater seats, and infinity edges, as well as a variety of lighting, shape, and color choices. The most popular swimming pool photos uploaded to KD Pool Builders from April to June of this year were measured by the number of people who saved them to blogs.
Dry area in the center. Well, the swimming pool photos that are dominating KD Pool Builders right now are interspersed with the kind of dry conversation we’ve never seen before. I imagine the people sitting in them getting playful sprays from the people in the water. Although the inviting conversation area is the main attraction, there is a variety of seating available around the pool, including bar and TV seating, fire pit seating, lounge chair seating, and underwater chairs.
Surrounded by a grid. It doesn’t get more modern than grid. Here the design allows for greenery to grow between the pavers. The bright primary colors of the umbrellas and house add charm to this pool area.
Modern moat. Infinity edge’s popularity continues to grow. And the opposite edge of this pool extends directly into the full glass facade of the home. Be sure to check out the rest of the pool because this home is truly amazing.
Prize pavilion. This stunning pool pavilion, with its large fireplace, stone arches, and slate roof, may have been a big factor in the popularity of this photo.
Shelf. Picking up new terms is fun. The only swimming pool I’ve ever experienced was the one in the basement when I was a kid. I had never heard of “Shelf” until I felt my guilty pleasure while listening to a podcast about the real housewives of Buffalo New York, USA. But this is what I call one of the perfect sunbathing spots.

The charm of the resort. Is the four seasons pool this good? I’m not sure as I’ve never had the pleasure of staying here before, but I’m sure this would be worth the money if you were to use the pool at a luxury resort. The deep colors of the tiles add a magical color to the water.
Black bottoms. These days, some homeowners are changing their “pool bottom turquoise” color to black. It may better match the palette of a modern home.
Hawaiian dream. Oh, and the way this gorgeous home opens onto the pool makes it seem like you can actually hear the soft sounds of a ukulele.
Simple symmetry. Sometimes a simple rectangle is the most elegant choice. This Buffalo New York, USA home surrounds a pool on three sides. It offers beautiful panoramic views over a large area.
Night light. A house with a pool view like this means you can always enjoy the view. At night, stunning lighting transforms the space. And check out the underwater lounge, the best place to cool off on a hot day.
Typical kidney. To show you that kidney-shaped pools are still alive and well and popular, we’ve expanded this list. Bringing the mid-century modern charm of palm springs to Buffalo New York, USA.
